I was born and raised in Toronto and much of my subject matter is derived from the vibrancy of this city. The beauty in nature also captivates me and provides a differing view of the world through art. Regardless of subject, my objective is to create art which the observer will spend unlimited time discovering and enjoying the light, depth and energy held within.
My formal training includes fine art courses at U of T, Visual Arts Mississauga, and Nielsen Park Creative Centre as well as instructional seminars from local, successful artists/visionaries. My preferred mediums are acrylic or oil on canvas.
My work has been included in juried shows at the Mississauga Art Gallery, TWAC/CNE, and Neilson Park Creative Centre. My painting “Redunclious”, which won best in show at the VAM Valentines show in 2014, is currently held in a private collection.
Other pieces may be seen in public collections at the Hospital for Sick Kids and Richardson GMP in downtown Toronto as well as many private collections throughout the GTA.
